Our Weekend!

On Friday night, we went to Faith Night at the Grizzley's game (our local minor league baseball team). We went with Cory and her kids and once we got there, we ran into a bunch of our friends from church and all sat together. we crammed ourselves in two rows with kids running through the aisles by our feet! It was a great time! They have bouncehouses for the kids if you want to take them, and on our way out (we didn't see the whole game, it was almost nine when we left) we let the kids ride the Merry-Go-Round. They had so much fun, it was great! I think I will try to take Kyle to the games more often.

On Saturday, the boys met with Ryan for breakfast before Kyle's last t-ball game. At the game, Kyle actually played and had a good time (of course I wasn't there, I had a baby shower). At the end of the game, Kyle got his first trophy! It's this cute sliver baseball man with a baseball bobblehead (with a silver helmet)! Kyle of course loves it, so he was trying to play with it and the bobble is bent to one side a bit and there is some chip somewhere that I can't see. Oh well! It still works! Later that night Kyle and Joshua had fun with our neighbor Jaeda who babysat while I went and played Spades!

On Sunday we had a birthday party for Joshua! We had a lot of fun! So many good friends and family were there! We went to the park to celebrate. After first trying to set up, I had a nasty smell near the table I was trying to set up, I realized that I had just stepped into a nasty puddle of CRAP! It was disgusting, I don't think I got over it until about two hours later...after I told everyone everytime I got the opportunity. Kyle was so excited to see his friends. He talked about Bailey and Camden all week once he found out they were coming. Leah was there, who is absolutley beautiful and whom Kyle has loved since he was 1 1/2! My friend Laura came with her baby Charlotte (who was born the same day as Joshua) and of course all our family (yes, that includes you and your kids Cory, Allyson and Sunni). The kids played on the playground and then made a craft. Afterwards they beat the Pinata down, they ate some cake and cupcakes (thank you Melody! Fairy godmother to the boys!). They then played some more before it was time for everyone to leave. We all had a great time (except that unfortunate incident with the crap). I didn't feel like I was able to talk to everyone like I had hoped, but I hope everyone had fun! Kyle was so excited about all the presents he got (because of course they weren't for Joshua!) :) He is having a blast with them! Good thing Joshua has no idea that his presents are being taken right from under his nose! :)

That night Joshua was so tired I kept putting him to bed. Well, each time he would cry and stand up, which isn't like him at all, so I would let him come out and try to get him worn out so he could go back to bed...well! I figured out at around 10pm, that the reason he wasn't going to bed is because he had a chocolate cupcake! It kept him up for hours! Well, lucky for me, he slept until 0945 the next morning! Yeah!!!!

On Monday, we had a nice day at home. Around 6pm, Ryan called to see the boys for dinner so we headed out to Riverpark and Ryan had dinner with the boys and then hung out with Kyle at Borders, reading him some stories. Then Ryan and Kyle walked over to Jo-Anns (craft store) to meet me to take the boys home. By the time we got home the boys were both passed out and slept until this morning!

So far, we have had a pretty uneventful day. Ryan met the boys for breakfast, and Joshua did a smelly while eating. Well, since Ryan does not have the pleasure of changing diapers too often, I had him take Joshua to get cleaned up...well, quite awhile passed before they came out again...and here's Joshua in just his diaper...no clothes! Ryan explained how we had to go since Joshua got poop all over his clothes, up his back and now stinks...and apparently so did Ryan. I guess some poop got on Ryan's clothes too, since he said he had to cut the morning short so he could go shower and change before work! I must say...better him then me! :) I would NOT want to smell like poop! Taking Joshua out of the carseat was something to see. I didn't want his smell to rub off on me...so I had him on his tummy over my arm. Man, did he smell! I immediatley put him in the tub and had him smelling pretty in no time! Now he's down for a nap and then we are off on a walk and to register Kyle for Preschool! Full day ahead for us!

Talk to you all soon!
